Suction Lipectomy, Liposuction, Lipoplasty, and Liposculpture

Dr. G. Gregory Gallico, III, has been in the forefront of liposuction for more than 25 years. He performs suction lipectomy and Liposculpture in the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and The Boston Center for maximal precision and surgical safety.

Dr. Gallico employs liposuction and liposculpture to remove fat from many areas of the face, neck, arms, abdomen, hips, and legs.

A 26 year old woman is shown in before and after pictures post liposculpture of the hips ('love handles'), lower back, lateral thighs ('saddle bags'), and inner thighs. Liposuction has reduced the fat in all areas in a symmetric way. Individual results may vary.

Extra fat on many areas of the body can be reduced by liposuction or suction lipectomy. The surgery is performed under general anesthesia in the Massachusetts General Hospital or The Boston Center. Small incisions allow the introduction of tumescent fluid which markedly increases the safety of the procedure. In a sculptural fashion the excess fat can be suction or vacuumed out.
