Case 1: This 28 year old 5' 6" 115 lbs. woman requested 260 cc hemispheric implants for breast implant augmentation enlargement. Dr. Gallico placed them under the pectoral muscle through a periareolar nipple incision for a natural appearance.

Case 3 This 25 year old woman, 5' 7" and 128 lbs. underwent breast implant placement through periareolar nipple incisions in submuscular pectoral pockets with 285 cc smooth walled round saline implants.

Case 6. A 24 year old 5"5" 135 lb woman before and after breast augmentation with smooth-walled saline implants in a subpectoral position through periareolar incisions under the nipple.

This 21 year old woman, 5' 6", 128 lbs., received 390 cc hemispheric saline breast implants placed in a submuscular subpectoral position through periareolar nipple incisions which leaves almost no scar. The saline implants can be placed through a very small incision at the lower edge of the nipple (periareolar) which hides easily under the shadow of the nipple.

Case 9. A 22 year old woman had breast implant augmentation by Dr. Gallico through periareolar nipple incisions into submuscular subpectoral positions so the implants cannot be seen or felt. Saline (salt water filled) implants inflated to 310 cc were placed and adjusted for a full, but natural appearance.

The periareolar nipple incisions allow the placement of a large implant through a small, barely visible scar which blends with the normal dark tissue of the nipple and areola and in less noticeable than a scar in the crease under the breast or in the armpit (axilla), which can be seen by everyone.

The right breast of the same woman is shown after breast implants augmentation enlargement through a periareolar nipple incision which curves along the lower border of the nipple areola. This placement of the scar leaves a barely noticeable line which is visible only without clothes and which heals in a much less noticeable way than a scar in the crease under the breast or one in the armpit (axilla), which is visible to everyone in a tank top or at the beach.

The nipple could have also been reduced in prominence at the same time, but the patient did not wish that.
